Bob, once we have quantities built up, SCARLET and EPIC will ship with STD OLPF by default. WEAPON, you will be able to choose.
Did we also mention that forged WEAPON orders will get all three OLPF offerings? STH, LLO, and STD at no additional charge? If you already took delivery of forged, you will get it as we start rolling out deliveries…
The magenta orbs flaring off the light source? Yes, on EPIC/SCARLET DRAGON, you will see that same reduction as you saw on STH. And, note, on LLO with WEAPON, also a big improvement on that front.
EDIT: Jarred beat me to the punch!

FALSE COLOR!? Is this a new feature on Weapon with more intervals of false color?

If you had to shoot outdoors from no light in the morning, straight through until the sun was blazing right over head, which single OLPF would you use?
I think the new Standard OLPF will be perfectly suited for these situations since it sits right in the middle. However, I'm quite curious where to rate the new OLPF in order to get the best results. I've personally come to love the Skin-Tone OLPF for its fantastic highlight roll-off and color capabilities, thus trying to avoid the Low-Light OLPF as much as possible. In the end, I guess it will come down to personal preference (i.e. color reproduction, noise levels).
