  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

An e mount would be great too, i wonder if a speed booster can work with such a mount on a Raven..
 
Seriously hoping some Dragon and Weapon owners will shoot some tests with the 4K crop mode to give future Raven owners a taste of how the camera will perform. I know its painful deliberately crippling the cam when you can go up to 6K but take one for the team please :)
 
I live in Karlstejn. When I order the Raven on eu.red.com, can I personally pick it up at RED Berlin for example?
I am asking because this is my first purchase at RED. :-)

I've already gotten help from the forum, but this is an area where the community can help out greatly.

Lot's of people will be waiting for their Ravens many months. Having some actual footage (Dragon, 4k exactly in various framerates) will make that time pass so much more quickly.

I'm sure some of you guys will be able to help. Additionally, it would be great if RED stepped up, when things calm down, and make some files available.
 
Wonder If Berlin will get these cameras same time as US.

Not so difficult to imagine what raven looks like, take any 6k dragon shot clip, film or file and look at the center 2/3 of the image. If you like what you see then you like raven.

Don't know if it says something about the level of excitement around here but I read this as, "i still haven't sold my wife". And it seemed almost reasonable...

Same here. I am going to order it on Monday when I get home.
We are going to three day weekend with my girlfriend so I have to be really really kind these three days. And have to find the best moment to tell her. :biggrin:

I got the same feeling here, the only option able to resolve that is a M43 mount with a speed booster (in a more expensive body?) , time will tell..
