  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Announcing RED RAVEN

Damien, we are working on getting things sped up here, but safe to say you are not the only one at a red light while everyone else is in the fast lane...

Sorry man.. Apparently it is a total complete clusterfuck at our webhost right now.

I didn't get a Confirmation, that page could not load and when I refreshed it went to Check Out again

My bank said RED pulled $1.00

I'm gonna wait and call my Rep tmrw
 
thank you bret, I will just keep checking back we want to buy one asap! :) wish we could edit the pre-made packages, for 1k deposit due to i would love to have that stuff on order. But i want the bigger screen, and I don't need the v lock :/ but I guess ill just call tom and see if i can pay for them and have them shipped with the camera when it comes in thanks ill keep checking back

Also, check your email. If your order goes through you will get an email from RED... assuming that confirmation is working.
 
Yeah, I completed the checkout but only got charged $1 too... I'm hoping that it will change to the correct deposit number and that my order went through..?

Thanks! Just placed my order....I think....blank white page. I'd prefer to not refresh and send another $1,000. Screenshot'd blank page and time so hopefully I can contact my BS rep and still have a decent place in line.

The $1 is just a hold to check for a valid credit card and available funds. Actual deposit charge will be correct, full amount. You don't get charged the deposit fully until we invoice your deposit. Usually takes within a business day or two.

Just saw the $1 charge too and I got a white screen after hitting the pay button. I assume it went thru...?
 
I may have ordered two on accident… not too worried, I'm sure we can fix it. First "order" never got a confirmation. Didn't feel like waiting so I tried again. Second one got a confirmation. There are two $1 preauths with my bank. I'm sure we will get it sorted.

Thanks for reply so excited for what you guys just put out finally going to own a red now yayaya! ill check it out again soon and see if its working better and I will call if it does to make sure im only on hold for one thanks!

We don't charge at time of order, only check for valid credit card and available funds. So, you are safe in that regard.

Thanks for the reply Brent. So should I just leave it and wait for a confirmation or refresh and do it again to get an email?

So I can't wait to see footage from this bad boy but that got me thinking, if the Raven sensor is the same as Dragon only smaller, the Raven sensor should be identical or almost identical to the Weapon in 4K crop mode. So to all Weapon and Dragon owners, can we get some examples of what Dragon looks like in 4K crop mode so future owners can get an idea of what they can expect from their Ravens? I'd like to see how this camera performs in low light specifically.
