Sorry if this has been asked, but does the 4k raven sensor give the same field of view as an epic-x in 4k? Ie is the sensor of the red raven the same dimensions as windowing down the epic to 4k?

Nino - pixel pitch on all the Dragon cuts is the same, so if you window an Epic or Scarlet to 4K DCI (2160 x 4096) it should have an identical FOV characteristic.

Nino. MX 4k is a bit larger. It would be 1.73 crop. Dragon 4k is 1.87 crop:

Samir is correct that the pixel pitch on the MX sensor is a little bigger than on the Dragons, so the 4K raster is a larger window.

The very cool thing about the 4.7" LCD Touch is that it folds down fairly compact on top of Raven or Weapon. Which keeps the camera essentially in a "ready to shoot mode". You can sling a REDVOLT XL in there and rip it out of your shoulder bag even.

You can, the display just doesn't fold down "that way". There's also the other Top Handle on the horizon as well.

but when the display is up, it will block it, with the conventional top handle…cant wait to see all the options!

Phil, any idea of when the remaining new modules will be announced? Granted you just reposted that from Jarred, but it seems that if the information has ever been made public, you seem to be the guy who knows and keeps track. Cheers!

Hi Phil, with the top handle that comes with the i/o is it conveniently able to fold in some way for storage to be ready to shoot? Is the screen safe?
