Hey guys, so I just got an email from someone who wanted to buy a 512minimag named Clevon Steward, immediately he wanted to skype and not email...
anyways before making his purchase he wanted me to download and watch a video file off wetransfer for me to review because I have worked with minimags before... Also the we transfer file was less than 1mb...

Anyways there is no way I am reviewing or downloading his file... his email is "clevonstewardsandiego" at gmail.com
Also I think he was cut an pasting lines..I have no idea where he got "Barbara" from. Ha!

You can download and watch the video via Wetransfer. I was just messing around in the video to see how things look. I just need some information and suggestions before purchasing.

Hi all

I have the same Clevon Steward right now on Skype wanting to buy me a XL Adapter.
He tried to send me a R3D file with a test he did by Wetransfer.

As soon as the downloading began, my antivirus canceled it with a warning.
I made a quick search online, and there´s more complains about this same person doing the same think to others.
Don´t accept nothing from him.

Clevon Steward reached out to me regarding my RPZ Lens sale and insisted we use skype to chat.
He asked to meet me at AbleCine in Burbank and never showed, then apologized and we re-scheduled to meet the next day at Able, but never showed again and has gone 'radio-silence' on skype now.
Weird.

Clevon Gary Steward trying to scam me now too.
He keeps insisting that I get an RMA number from Red for the transfer of my camera to him. THEN he will get me a deposit, promise. And oh ya, throw in that monitor and minimags too... whatever the price.

Shavaughn Melvin is a strait up thief. He is running a slow pay refund scam. He does not own any of the equipment he has listed for sale. He holds your money and then slowly sends unsigned money order refunds in small amounts. He took $345.00 from me. When he was contacted by the Las Vegas Police he admitted that he owed me the money. I just saw a post from another member who bought the same Scarlet at the same time that I did.

Shavaughn Melvin's posts should be removed and he should be banned.

Someone claiming to be Mary Basnight, a still photog from North Carolina, emailed me directly offering to sell a SmallHD 702 for $800. Many red flags immediately raised so after investigating I was quickly able to determine it was not Mary Basnight. They even took screenshots of her Facebook and photoshopped the fake email address into it. I called them out and they stopped responding. Email was marybasnightnc@gmail.com. I'm sure they'll just create a new fake account, but be aware.
 
Watch out for Paul Green. Tried to sell me a lens. Had him add his name and today's date to the picture and he typed them over the piece of paper that was already in the shot...

Found the photo he used... It was a picture of Darryl Woods lens he sold in a Reduser listing from 4 years ago.

Ha! Another Clevan Steward.
He said he was "having a hard time receiving emails from Mac users. Are you a Mac or PC"? which seemed fishy.
Then he sent me a file to look at "because my mate's camera seems green, is this normal?" I started to download but it had a weird suffix so I trashed the file.
Radio silence.
Can't wait to hear from him about my new listing.

Well, there's a first time in life for everything I suppose. Was ripped off by "Mary Basnight" of NC in the same exact way that Andrew described. Purchased a SmallHD 702 for $800. She told me she'd overnight it to me, and 8 days later no monitor and now she's not responding. Thankfully I just called PayPal and they are going to refund me the $.

I believe this person is Phising for Reduser IDs as the link he includes is to login page identical in Appearance to Reduser Forums but address is incorrect. BE CAREFUL where you are logging in to.

Got the same message from the same person, obviously he is trying to steal a solid identity (Didn´t follow the link, though - looked too suspicious), watch out!
