(This is the same scammer as the other imposter names below. )
He is not the real Tom Doran from the UK.

Offering Alexa camera, owned by someone else.

Do not send any money to this con-artist.


Beware of this scam artist:

Bailey Sims, Ryan Fox, Sarah Brown, Efren Michelle, Brass Walter,
James Risby, Scott Jonson and Jason Moore
are the same guy in South Carolina. He changes identity every few days.

He is trolling the camera/video user groups offering
to sell non-existent equipment through Paypal.

He keeps the money and NEVER ships anything. Don't fall for his con game.

He has burned a number of the Reduser community and other user forums.

Wow what a waste of post. James you are angry for what? I told you the situation and you are angry that PayPal has the funds on hold and told me not to ship. Contact PayPal.

I already did.
 
Bailey (name he stole from a real photographer) attempted to scam me and a number of Redusers as well. I paid him for 3 adapters and he never sent them and avoided all communication attempts afterwords. He is now attempting to make other posts on Reduser to try to get himself credibility. Avoid him at all costs.
 
The FBI is tracking his IP address right now and the mods are monitoring his activities.

He will disappear soon and come out with new names.

He just can't help being a sociopath.

Paypal is shutting down his latest accounts, thanks to the numerous complaints filed to open the claims for fraud.

Yes. This thread can be stuck. I would like to keep it about the alleged offender in question, though. There are a number of accounts that were tied directly to each other with minimal research. There are a number of additional potentially associated accounts that are being investigated further at this time.

No discussion, please.

But, please do feel free to post up any concrete and factual information you may have. You may also contact me privately and share any additional information that you think may be helpful to us.

We are looking into this seriously, and it has already been passed up the chain.

We (Landmine Media, Inc.) will fully cooperate with law enforcement and lawyers for anyone who is a potential victim of the person in question and is seeking legal action. I wish I could provide some more information in this thread, but we are also exploring our own options at this time. However, as I said, we will cooperate fully with law enforcement, lawyers, etc.
 
This may not be new information, but in "Bailey Sims" signature above is this twitter account which he presumes to share as being his own: http://twitter.com/baileysimssc

After a bit of research I found this is in fact a fraudulent twitter account (big surprise), the kid in the all of the photos is a young athlete named Bailey Payne, who's REAL twitter account is located here --> https://twitter.com/BaileyPayne6

I find it incredible that this little scamster, in this very own thread thinks he has everybody hoodwinked!

I was scammed by him under his other alias of "Ryan Fox". Hopefully Paypal will refund me the hundreds of dollars he got out of me.
The full weight of the law should be brought down on this punk.

Hello everyone,

I think i may have just been the next victim i bought a red touch yesterday from a Scott Jonson he was suppose to give me a tracking number yesterday and now his account is banned his email address makes me think this even more as it to has to do with SC anyone had any experience with him before?

Just wanted to add a +1 on James Risby.
He tried to sell me Cooke Panchro singles, and when I asked for photos he kept grabbing a different one from eBay. Then I would call him on it and he would try to tell me he never said it was of his actual lens... Steer clear.

User name on reduser is "Scott Jonson" for the record. (I say this only b/c there is a legit (but older account) "Scott Johnson" that I do not wish to be confused with this alleged d bag.

Please, everyone contact me via pm if you think you may have been a victim, so I can collect your info and include it in the file. We (Landmine Media, Inc.) currently have 20+ accounts tied to this person across two of our forums, and are continuing to collect information.
