  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Accessories that WILL WORK and those that are DOA

I have 2 rather large accessories that require the DSMC Side Handel to operate the Dragon. As this accessory is DOA I am not sure what I am going to do. I would love to stay in the Red ecosystem but if I am in for $50-60K to get weapon working with all new accessories and underwater I might be out . The amortisation of $15-20K is very different from $50-60k given the time between upgrades.

I just noticed this after posting on the bubble blowers thread. That Nauticam housing has some really nice crazy cool engineering to make the side handle work but it doesn't look like that will transfer to weapon.

I asked or suggested a few weeks back that Red have an option to keep your old cam and get the new at a special price - like the original Redone to Epic=X program so at least you could move to the weapon without as much pain and still have the Epic Dragon for underwater or other specialized work where expensive support equipment was designed around that form factor.
