Raven, I think this is the stats as of now.

4k 120fps
wifi
non interchangeable mount it seems from pictures
lighter
dragon sensor
built in front mics
NO 5k, but he didn't say no 4.5k

Unknown:

I'm sure it will be redcode, most likely no proress is my guess
sensor size and mount (new picture with canon mount, perhaps other models as well), I'm hoping s35 not m43, but as people have stated the current 4k dragon crop is 1.87x
compression
interchangeable olpf? I assume not if the lens mount is fixed. I would be fine with dragon standard olpf
where will it sit in the lineup? Depends on who you talk to, at this point it seems to be around the Scarlet D range, with each having different advantages, disadvantages.
oh, and price

I don't own a Red (yet) but, for me, the main reason I'm so eager to join the club is Redcode. If the Raven only shoots ProRes, I'd probably pass. I know Red has lots going for it besides Redcode but I can say confidently that, for me, it is basically the only reason that I want a Red.

+1
Absolutely the same for me
and plus RAW internally

...as long as it's not the MX sensor (as some have suggested it might be). That would mean going backwards. It would also be a mistake. MX would make Raven a lame duck, IMO. After having Dragon, there's no way I'd be interested in anything with MX in it. I don't care how many awesome things it has shot.

I believe Jarred stated the future is through Dragon and, obviously, what comes after. Dragon in a $4-$8K body, if 4K4ALL means what most people think it does, is fairly significant because none of the current crop of sensors at that price point can match its overall image quality.

I can't say I feel the same. I love the Dragon but the MX allowed me to capture some amazing imagery. I personally know quite a few RED shooters who I still see better content from MX's on that some stuff now being shot on Dragon's. If it made the cost lower for a B-camera i'd certainly consider it. However I don't expect it to be MX.

if this camera is what i hope it is, Friday is gonna be most interesting.

Speculation oblige

Actually I was responding to you mentioning GH4 on post #961. We don't know what 4K4All means. However, I think, since this is reduser that it means 4k4All who are interested in a RED camera. It doesn't mean that, now that it has been spoken, that the entire world of 4K cameras need to be factored into the price. It doesn't need to conform to any particular price range at all, except one that makes sense to RED, the digital cinema camera company and their offerings. I mean, good for all other camera companies and people who buy what they have but that doesn't have sqwat to do with how this will be priced. Reality-wise
Actually, I had just quoted your post (#950) where you had previously mentioned the GH4, which gave me the topic for.

True. We can't surely know what 4K4All does mean to the RED book. But, as someone else pointed out and I will now take the chance, it is legitimate to infer that a post on Facebook (and not reduser) may hint. "For all" hints... masses.

Without access to other significant data to mark the price (R&D -- partially already paid, direct materials cost, direct labor cost, manufacturing overhead, etc) we can have clue on other variables no less crucial for the business, those ones dictated by the market and not by a contender willing to succeed. The same by definition to establish the fence of a few thousands of dollars. Even though, I don't think this product will be priced under $2,000 (in the GH4 range, despite to be used by many professionals when 10-bit 4:2:2 is part of the equation now at consumer/prosumer prices), it is more likely to end in the 4K for $4K tag, though. Above all, when we remember the 3K for $3K fiasco and so many eyes are in the RED track once again. Can RED ignore new generations of adopters towards the(ir) high-end one day?

I have no clue how many Ursa (mainly Mini) pre-orders Blackmagic would have today if another story had been told then. But, reality-wise and based in the queue, we can fairly estimate, isn't it?

Canon mount?
Can someone move the time 3 days forward? :-D

I definitely am going to need some Adult Supervision to make it all the way to Friday... Probably best for Brent to get IT to cut off my internet :)

Hmmmmm
