  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I've been a silent observer of reduser for quite some time now. I'm a great admirer of Mr. Jannard and what he has accomplished. Today I can no longer stay in silence. I have the urge to scream at the top of my lungs, but the truth is I'm speechless. It is unbelievable. RED is definitly the future.

16 bit is KILLER!

I'm also starting to realize how these massive sensors will increase sensitivity and DR when down sampled to 1080 or 4k even.

you listen

jim,
what amaze me is that you really listen to us. I believe you read every word in this forum

wow

So after it all release, apart from 2/3" stuff. Where is RED ONE going to stand now. It almost looks like, there will be no RED next year. Scarlet and EPIC all the way.

Until they release the cameras I will continue to revere my RED One and even after...RED One brought the fun back into making movies and I will never forget that. (Violins please)

To sum up in one word

To sum up in one word

This is Rediculous!!

What a unique company for so many reasons besides just it's cameras. This forum and this experience right now is.......i'm speachless.......just retarded from bomb droppings.

For the record. I just read the announcement, didn't blink( or for that matter breathe) for about 5 minutes, and I think I may have even shat myself. Job well done Jim & entire RED team. You may have just rendered the competition obsolete. :poster_oops:

P.S. We should be premiering our film "Love Fever" on Dec. 13 @ Landmark's Midtown Art theater in Atlanta. Written & directed by Michelle Grey, starring Cheri Christian( from The Signal), Michelle Grey, Rob Pralgo &...well...i've got a little part in their too. It was shot by Bill Schweikert & the Dead Worker's Party completely on RED #291 & completely in Atlanta. Michelle should be making her announcement & have the IMDB page up shortly. :poster_oops: :poster_oops:

Epic 6K Winter 2009
Epic 9K, 28K Spring 2010

Well done... I had to look quickly as I'm shooting (with my RED ONE) in the morning pretty soon - but was impressed with the line up love the fact that you can have S35 sensors on the scarlet and interchangeable lenses.... but I really laughed when I got to that one huge sensor... that one... that one is the silly one.

Scarlet S35 is where it's at. Just have to stand behind the Massive Amounts of RED owners to get one.

Sniff Sniffle.

>:D And, then I remembered something.
