BTW, what PSU this TV has? Builtin or not? Can it be used with 240V / europlug as well or some adapter/transformator needed? And if used not just as monitor but as TV, does it have PAL output or just NTCS?
Then you should probably hit up this guy:

Mac drivers are broken on nvidia (my macbook retina has a HDMI port too) but it only works in linux/windows. That tom guy said he had a workaround for his mabook retina through a driver hack. He might be able to help you with a fix too.
My comment earlier was if you only have display port there is nothing that you can do IMHO. The passive adapters do not work for hdmi 1.4 on nvidia machines under linux Mac OS X or windows. I have tried them already.

houkouonchi: maybe post here those modelines and other configuration gotchas/hints for those that might use this TV@linux, to not reinvent the wheel.
Not sure I understand why you're pushing to 31Hz. Seems like that would be a funky mis-match to all the most common frame rates.
30Hz seems to be working just fine out of the box with the Titan on Windows, still no issues. I'm definitely feeling no love for 30Hz as a desktop interface rate, or for much of anything really. So far the SEIKI has been a great display (aside from sync issues on HDMI 3).... Don't know if I'm going to buy more of them. Not feeling it as a desktop display. Holding out for HDMI 2.0 and 60Hz+ for any new 4K units... Probably a year out though. :/
Seiki won't make appearance of hdmi2 faster, but it will bring down UHD/4K prices (and making adoption of this new tech quickly more widespread for common folks as well), much much faster then without such. When i saw UHD/4K monitor & TV prices @CES 2013 or from different news bits from all over everywhere, i initially expected seiki level of pricing no sooner then +1.5-2 years. Now with such cheaply priced annoying eyesore all vendors of first echelon will have to drop prices much sooner then expected = big win for customers. Era of $10-20K UHD products will end much quicker. And for this role i highly value this seiki tv. I don't care much about TV market, but i hated so prolonged maximum 30" WQXGA stagnation @PC market, that finally started to move on.I agree that 60Hz 4k displays that are similarly affordable are probably 1+ year out. That is why I opted to get the seiki as I don't want to wait a year for something better.
Just received my Seiki. I'm using a GTX 680 (Mac Edition) and can only achieve a 17hz refresh rate. Has anyone been able to get 30hz using a Mac Pro and GTX 680?
Thanks Luc, SwitchResX is what I had to use to get 2160p at 17hz. No luck with 30hz. Looks like I'll have to return the monitor. Bummer![]()
UPDATE!!! I spoke with Accell Cables rep and he said they will start shipping the active adapters by June 17th.
