  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Red ray

Since nothing was mentioned about Red ray but at the same time one can still see this "2009" note at red.com and we 're almost one month before 2010, I'm wondering...

Im not sure if this has been answered but..... If i buy a red one next month will i be eligible for stage 3 :)
 
tried to register and post while in afganistan but that didnt work. on the journey back (in Kyrgyzstan at the moment) with my deployment money ready to blow it all on this and booze :-D if only i can get in on that beta, but alas i'll probably have to settle on the scarlett systems.
i was keeping up to date before i deeployed here, but now theres so much i have to catch up on this forum it could take a while:-P

glad to hear the announcement is still a go for tomorrow, i was afraid the thirty day asic setback included the nov 30th news. i actually cut back on my reduser.net viewings to focus more on work so i can afford a red one in fear of all these setbacks. hoping that outlook will change tomorrow, tired of working too hard and saving money for that red one that is just out of reach . . .

Oha - that is a hint that will make me sleepless. A z-depth (via laser or ultrasound? ) module that would be the ultimate dream. And having it as an addon only for those who really need it - without adding cost for those who don´t ohmy.
 
Over here in Singapore, it's 8:10PM on the 30th. Can't wait to wake up tommorow and see the announcement! That announcement will decide what camera I save up my money for and ultimately what I buy. If it's not the Scarlet, it'll have to be something like an FX1000 or HVR-Z5U.
