This is awesome and exactly what I have been looking for. It keeps the Epic rig just about as small as possible while providing quick changes from shoulder to sticks. While I like the aesthetic of the Red DSMC shoulder rigs, this is more my cup of tea. I'll order as soon as its available.

Can you show us how it would mount onto the top of the camera?

barring anything else, it can be quickly bolted onto a top plate. Not as elegant as the dovetail, but its hard to get lighter than a couple of bolts and with such easy access wouldn't take more than a few seconds I'd think.

Will it fit backwards into an ET hybrid baseplate? So that the shoulderpad is infront of the camera? Looks like that should be no problem...

Would be an ideal way to mount a camera which is very front heavy as standard.

Here some weight informations:
Shoulder-Mount part (w/o Arri Adapter Plate and Bridge-Plate) 280g (0.62 pounds)
with Arri Adapter Plate and Bridge-Plate: 800g (1.75 pounds)
Full Rig with the above and 2 12" carbon rods and 2 handles with one handle extension: 1.48 kg (3.25 pounds)

However we will probably be shipping it with a open connector for the power (so you can add what ever power connector you need - D-Tap, LEMO etc).

Here is the standard setup (shoulder mount with Arri Adapter Plate). Configured in a way to put most of the camera weight directly over your shoulder. Our Arri Adapter Plate however offers a very narrow setup for use with any arri compatible bridge plates (Arri, RED, ET ...). Regular plates are normally thicker and therefore further away from the bridge plate.

i did not read prior posts that probably tell me....but what battery plate is that?
Can we use ANY battery plate?


....is it what you called the Swap Pack with Swivel then? is this your product ? where do we find that thing.?

Yes, it is a SwapPack for V-Mount batteries and mounted to the shoulder plate with a adjustable Swivel. The V-Mount plates are mounted with 4 screws so mounting another battery plate should be possible.

These products are amazing! Quick question...can the Vmount/Gold Mount power adaptor attach to the back Epic modules, or strictly to the back of the brain? What is the price of the power adaptor and when is shipping expected to begin?

The Electra will have a open standard. Standard version will attach directly to the camera. A extra connection for the back modules would be optional (and probably at a later time). We hope to be able to post price and availability some time next week.
