Since I won't get my Stage 3 Epic until July I am still thinking of buying some accessories in the meantime. Already excited about Brook's AKS and now this... As soon as they start selling I will buy and use them on my 2D Epics on Spiderman until we wrap in late May. Very cool my large friend Jarred

These look great guys! if they perform and fit anything like they look they are going to be awesome.

My one reservation is that the Quick release plate does not look compatible with a Ronford Touch and Go (euro large plate).

This is going to be a major drawback. When your on a shoot with one body and lots of different things to put it on you need compatibility. A lot of my shoots we have a tripod, slider, dolly, short jib, 30' jib, etc with at least three different heads. Being able to move between them very fast is key, and that starts with the QR plate.

When possible doing shoulder mount work, I prefer to have my hands in front of me, rather than reaching to the side. Is there a way to mount a sideways extension of the two handles of the Klutch to sit right in front of me? I am such a Klutz. (sorry couldn't resist).

Agree. This stuff is beautiful. Why does Red feel compelled to slap "Pro" on everything. As if it still needs to differentiate current products from some of it's first gen products (notably lenses). Everything in the Epic Line is WAY beyond any consumer or "prosumer" level product.

Imagine Panavision or Arri naming every product "Pro". As if they make anything that is NOT designed for professionals.

Same with Red.

All the new Red products seem to go straight to 'limited availability'. Are these products in the same order-and-wait-a-year production stream as the EVF and SSD's? How much advance order time is suggested to get product in-hand?

For those of us who are unable to try out thes pieces at NAB, is there some way of posting pics of configurations with a bit of explanation? Buying this stuff on line is like going to a store and buying clothes without trying them on first. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
