We are having a good time with Michael Hastings (AquaVideo) as we put together the first Underwater Housing made specifically for the EPIC...

Yeah Michael Hastings is pretty resourceful and the UWH for Epic is coming along nicely,
this wil be a first quick version built literally in less then 3 days, this is all the time we have,
as we need to shoot Clay's UW High Fashion shoot in NY on the 25th, but other versions will be forthcoming,
and we look forward to take them under water all over the world... and I do mean that literally...

Things are going swell. I believe we are shooting some tonight (you need to come!).

We leave for NYC tomorrow afternoon to be with Clay Haskell. We just checked the weather to find it 50°F coldER than Miami with snow as well. 8)

He is going to talk to one of his employees who works a little more closely with the helicopter dealers and see if they know someone who might be able to help out..no promises..My dad said he would get back to me early next week. When are you guys going to be in the bay area?

First of all, wtf does that mean?

Anyway, after pulling an all nighter, I'm happy to say that we were able to put Ketch and Joseph on a 12:00 plane to NYC with a fully functioning Epic underwater case. Looks pretty sexy in carbon fiber finish but didn't even have time to take a photo if we were going to make the flight so I'm counting on Ketch/Joseph to take some nice publicity shots tomorrow.

There will be a bunch of tweaks and options on later versions, and maybe a little shorter when we get the other modules (set it up with red bricks for this shoot) but this one is pretty close to final form factor.

Exactly what it sounds like!!!! You are a piece of work!!!!! Creative, innovative and f-ing nuts!!!! The only freak that I know that can build a housing in 36 hours for the Epic Camera!!! Moreover, having Miami drop by to peep at the Epic and Ketch looking over your shoulder!!!

Congrats!!! Got nothing but love for you man!!!

Just to be clear - (although maybe for marketing I should promote confusion:smile - it is a coating not actual carbon fiber construction - but it does look real!

Actually Joseph, did not made it to the shoot, not his style for nudity content, this was Clay's shoot and I was happy to be part of it, at last shooting together with Clay was long coming,
today we are shooting NY City!!


Here are some shots of Michael's UWH for Epic, please do note that this is an "UNFINISHED" preproduction model, and it was done in just couple of days of work,
we were ion a rush and in fact not even went out shooting with Michael in Miami.

The camera worked flawlessly under water for several hours, a big thanks to Michael's work, a pleasure to meet and see you at work!!



And btw, be prepared to see Ketch Rossi Studios, work with some insane UWH rigs, both in 2D and 3D configurations, Underwater will never be the same...

Wow. Our schedule has been incredibly crazy. We got into Washington DC yesterday from NYC, and will be heading to Houston tomorrow.

We had the pleasure of meeting up with Jason Diamond and Alex MacLean on Saturday.

I'm currently editing the NYC BTS video of our EPIC shoot around the city.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the pictures...
