If they do not, then does anyone know if RED plans on producing FF lenses?

If RED doesn't make FF lenses, then what lenses would be used with Epic Monstro?

Nikon, Canon and Zeiss still lenses?

If so then I'm concerned that the ergonomics, backwards focus, breathing, half turn focus, non-geared and non-marked still lenses will give me an ulcer.

The Red Pro Primes will cover 5K/S35mm, but not FF35.

From what I've read in other threads, the Zeiss ZF and Nikon lenses will cover FF35, but you have the obvious problems of focus throw/direction right off the bat.

As you will be able to see here, Red plans to introduce FF35 format electronic lenses covering a wide range of focal lengths. These lenses will focus in the the cine direction, and will also include an auto-focus function.

I think this is my first time actually answering a question here. I'm sure other members will have more to add.

Most of the Leitz and the Zeiss/Contax lenses focus cinewise and are quite good optically and have decent focus throws. May not be the easiest way to go but they offer up a choice of great optics.

Red will be making FF35 lenses
