  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Whatever your name is , either respond to me. Or I am complaining and requesting for a refund from PayPal. Also in www.ic3.gov on cyber crime.

You closed the thread saying [sold] , I do not know to whom. Has anyone ever got anything at all from him ? But still we can open new threads to warn people if not the same thread of yours.

You better stand up to it and stop fooling around . I do not know what are you trying to do ?,

I read about what Jason Ramsey wrote. That's weird because I have never did a transaction with "Zack Robinson" nor have I ever had in person communication with him. The only time I contacted him is when he sent me a PM on Reduser regarding my Red Touch. So either Jason Ramsey made a false statement or there is a misunderstanding with the server on Reduser. I also read what you posted on that thread aaranyan.. We did have a transaction which I resolved the issue. The email situation he stated does not make sense because I been using ccmpictures@aol.com for 2 years now. I gave Zack a invoice through PayPal for the Red Touch which he never paid. So that is how I think he knows my email and tried to create an account similar to mines.

But his reduser info is ohio

Yet again this week ? Can you go ahead and refund my money . I will buy else where , before I get completely pissed and take some extreme steps by reporting it in the right place.

A moderator has banned Carlos and Zack, or whoever he/she is in real life.

It's a difficult position for anybody involved with the policing of sales between individuals on Reduser.

However, advice for the future.

When purchasing or selling items to anybody online due as much as you can within reason to find out if the person is upstanding, genuine, and legitimate. It's difficult in these days where you can be anybody and anywhere on the internet.

On Reduser steps you can take are check the join date and posts from a user. Often a quick join and sale, often with a deal too good to be true should lead to some uneasiness. Also, if possible cross checking images of items and serial numbers is a good way to go.
 
Thank you @Phil.....Dealing with one 'Daniel Reed' (NEXTBOOTH) who sold me an Item that was not as described.
When I got in touch with him to notify Him and arrange a return... He sent me the msg pasted below...
Demanding $75 Restocking fee of a $225.00 used Quick plate(Used Over 1Yr)... and refund will be 1month after return has bn received .
Mine was bad because I fell for his paypal gift/family payment option he suggested.
He has refuse to reply my numerous Msgs... I see him come online from time to time.
His claim was I change my mind...which is a Lie... beware of DANIEL REED (NEXTBOOTH)

HIS LAST MSG
NO full refunds for "change of mind".

FYI- I also got an offer from "Tony M" who wanted me to ship an item I have for sale to Nigeria. That's fine, I'm sure there's good business going on in Nigeria, but I got suspicious when he asked what else I might have for sale.
I stopped the communication there. If you are legit Tony, I'm very sorry for jumping to this conclusion.

Understood. However, the moderators can't let this continue here on the board as they are essentially fishing for victims, which only complicates things more. Paypal has the only authority to get your money back as they managed the transaction.

If you have been a victim of fraud no matter how many PMs or email messages you have going back and forth they'll just be stringing you along. Take action through Paypal (that's part of their service) and if necessary legal action.
 
i just spoke to paypal an i have been issued a refund

Will say it has really put me off purchasing in this way in the future and will take note to all the buying suggestions above if i do take the risk.
 
I also paid for an item that Carlos Murphy didn't ship, after weeks of frustrated negotiation I applied for refund on Paypal, waiting for the outcome, it's a shame. The Red marketplace would benefit from some sort of review board for the sellers/users, it helps avoiding this type of scam as you can recognize top rated/ genuine sellers easier.

DVXUser has a marketplace feedback rating system.

Shouldn't be too hard to do here as they are both owned by Landmine.

Actually, Tony M bought my Cooke 18-100 T.3 Classic lens and the transaction was great without any issues.

You come up here and try to spoil my name, all because i tried to buy your Arri Pocket Par kit. All i did was ask you if you had other items for sale, seeing from your previous threads, that you specialized in selling lighting kits.
What was wrong in that?
And you were the one that responded to that, that you had a Dragon for sale? For 36k just the brain only? I was never interested in that, but i wondered why someone would want to sell their Dragon and not post it? And i asked you why it was even more expensive than at Red store. And you never responded.

All i asked was if you had other items like the lighting kits you deal on for sale. And you jump to conclusions, and go further to spoil my name here in a different thread. And i never heard from you regarding the Arri Pocket Par. And i decided to leave you alone.
But why then come here to insult me?

You are not the first person who has refused to talk to me or do business with me here on Reduser because i am black, African or Nigerian, or whatever obscure reason. I get that, I am a realist who understands that life ain't a musical. I understand prejudices, racism, biases, and assumptions. But i don't let it hang on my neck. I try to move ahead, cos i know not everybody is the same, and if i did think everybody was the same, then that only makes the same as those people.

But please, whatever assumptions or feelings you have, please, please, do think twice before you post it, cos it is someone's reputation (and deep feelings too) that are on the line, and not just a thread titled " Say Anything You Want to Say".

Please, please.
