  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who ordered EPIC stage 2? Let's try and count?

I got my email this morning for #3929. I got my Red ONE in early October '08

They are really cranking them out.

Mine still says open order, but the funds were withdrawn and I received the tracking number. I only ordered a few accessories - 2b-1b cable, ac adapter and some red volts.

I had enough funds in the account to cover the camera already. I only had to pay the difference for the accessories which I paid on my visa.

Thanks Marc. I guess the accessories is holding up my order... I don't know why they are "in stock" in the store... the only back ordered item is the DSMC Side Handle.
 
Got my Epic 183 (Red One 1876) today. Together with 10 Redvoltsm but no Sidehandle yet. So no use for the 10 Redvolts. But still happy to have them allready. Quickrelease System (just killer), 4 x 265 GB SSDs, 3 x SSD Readers, Rails, Handle, LCD etc. etc.

But the biggest surprise was the Canon Mount. This thing is crazy well built. Just perfect. Now bring out the Redmote Pro and you will rock the world for good. We all need this thing badly.

Finally after almost 2 years the wait is almost over. And guess what it was damn worth it.
Great Job Red Team. You are and will stay my number one company in the Galaxy.

When was your order processed?
 
The FedEx shipping email just arrived this morning for 2343 (Aug. 08 delivery). If fortune smiles it will be shipping with the Canon mount which was ordered by 9PM August 26th.
 
Fedex tracking number just came in as well for red one serial 2876. :) No luck on the canon mount though.:( Unless Madeline whips out her magic wand. :)

Charles of the bomb squad started the process on the 9.14.11. That's when they got the wire transfer.
I think they waited 1 or 2 days because they knew, that they will get more Volts and Canon Mounts. I think that's why I got my Canon Mount so early. I ordered my mount 2 days after announcement.

Hi Tim, you are one lucky guy. I ordered my mount on the same day after it was released on the red store but my epic will arrive without my mount next monday. Did your rep tell you that it was shipping together with your epic?

No he didn't. I guess they just throw everything that they have at the time into the box. Like ohh that's Tim's box and here we got a new Canon Mount right from the line, let's put it in. The box leaves in a few minutes. They hope that when your box is showing up they got a new mount ready. Why sending you a mount now, when your Epic leaves in a few days. Kinda like that. I think they get more and more of the stuff we all want. Soon they will be out of backorder.
