  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who ordered EPIC stage 2? Let's try and count?

I think the relevance of date of delivery was date of delivery of your RED1, to differentiate those that had assigned serial numbers but delayed delivery (which was allowed for various reasons). As an example, with my R1 #206 I actually paid before I received an email notice and took the earliest possible delivery (I think Jan 4, 2008) so presumably noone with serial after 206 should be able to get an X before me. ?

In above case who will get EPIC X earlier.....Serial number 206 who paid earlier but did not take delivery
or Serial maybe 500 who paid and took delivery before 206....

It seems hard to explain, may be some one from RED can explain better, but I will try again, EPIC-X delivery goes by when REDOne was delivered....not by serial number, but serial number is a good guess, but not exact, DELIVARY DATE OF REDONE is the correct list, which does not exist in the open, only RED know the exact list of REDone delivery dates, and so only they know who will be getting they EPIC X's in what order...I hope you now understand

Antonio is correct. ...and since it goes by delivery date, some of the names on the list in this thread may get skipped as the names turn RED.

Can't determine anything about speed yet, they will speed up production over time. At the top of the Red One run they were making about 500 cameras per month and they said this line should end up much faster. They have always hinted at getting through all orders in a month or two so clearly they are expecting to pick up major speed.

Jim mentioned something about today Ferrari, and Tomorrow Ford, which would not really underline your theory, but i very hope your right.
