  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who ordered EPIC stage 2? Let's try and count?

In a word, "closed".

As a then current Red 1 owner of a camera purchased before a certain date (can't remember what the cutoff was but it no longer matters because Stage 2 is closed). You had to opt into Stage 2 in May of 2010 by paying a $5,000 deposit. Those who were eligible but chose not to go the Stage 2 route are still eligible to trade their also eligible R1s for a Stage 3 Epic. There became another "also eligible" list of R-1 owners that could enter Stage 3.5. R1s purchased after a certain date were ineligible for trade in perks and have a very nice R1 camera that they've been using instead of waiting for Stage 4 Epics and be-yohhhnnnnnd.

Stage 2 Package : Brain , PL Mount (Ti) , Side SSD Module , 5" LCD, REDmote, Module Adaptor , Pro Battery Module, 2x REDVolts, Travel Charger

If this list can be arranged by date of delivery it will be a total different list...
Like Robb Fischer has serial number 1300 but he has paid for his EPIC X.....Can he be also marked RED .....
 
no, the ones marked RED are ones that have already received their email...(just a guess on my part) as RED#14 John Cordell has picked up his EPIC X from RED, I am guessing every one behind him has received their email.

this list is not for who has already paid...

As people announce they have received their emails, or their EPIC X's I will put them in RED as well

I think the relevance of date of delivery was date of delivery of your RED1, to differentiate those that had assigned serial numbers but delayed delivery (which was allowed for various reasons). As an example, with my R1 #206 I actually paid before I received an email notice and took the earliest possible delivery (I think Jan 4, 2008) so presumably noone with serial after 206 should be able to get an X before me. ?

I dont know whether it is date of delivery of your R1 or date of full payment for R1 that will decide your EPIC X allotment.

Can anyone clarify....

so presumably noone with serial after 206 should be able to get an X before me. ?

So is this statement wrong.....because he took delivery maybe some days after he the payment in advance....????
 
I think you are confusing things


EPIC X stage 2 will be delivered according to the original delivery date of the RED Ones....some people might have RED ones with serials numbers with a lower number but who took delivery at a later date than others with a higher serial number... do you understand?
