  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Which One(s) do you like?

I like both A and D.

A good psychology experiment would be to post eight images but only two versions. The differences are subtle.

Don't want to be a party pooper but I assume most people are viewing these images via a browser on a computer screen or maybe a tablet or mobile phone. Unless you are viewing these images on a calibrated professional monitor its an impossible call to judge subtle image differences. Never underestimate the influence individual monitors have on how an image looks

I realize a lot of photographed material is now viewed via computers but at least Television has a standard process although in a twist most consumer TV manufacturers seem hell bent on fucking up the viewed image while Apple a computer company makes a phone with a better setup screen than most TVs.

Just saying you need to standardize the viewing environment before making any worthwhile comparison.

.

Preferences in descending order -

D - Slightly too magenta
A - Slightly too yellow
B - Too contrasty/saturated
E - Too contrasty & green
C - Too desaturated & green
G - Too contrasty & green/yellow
F - Too Magenta

Don't mind, as there are no divices that comply the viewing standard.
BTW what is the viewing standard? Your P3 monitor, your movie screen, your TV or the iPhone (where the most of the media created is viewed on)? ;-)
