  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where in line are we and how manmy ordered?

I wonder what most people ordered. It seems like most will be AL mounts from what I've read. I don't think the wait will be on bodies so much as it will be on the AL mounts themselves.
 
Hmm.. by all these calculations that would make me all th way down at 252..

How about thinking positive: RED has already - let's say - 3000 scarlets on the shelf as we speak. All that's left is noodling the desired PL or Canon Mount on it, then pack and ship. And all of us (even people overseas) get their Cam by Mid-Decmber!

(Well ... this kind of positive approach is all that's left for me, being over here in switzerland. I first had to get my budget doubled (had just around 9 Grand aside for a fixed-scarlet) before ordering on Nov 7 ... my last 4 Digits on the Order Confirmation are 0149 - now this is depressing, innit?)

I have some Canon glass, and my friends have some Compact Primes in Canon mounts, but I really have a crush on the 18-85 RPZ, so I ordered that with my Scarlet.

I will post pictures, upload videos, and answer as many questions as soon as I get my Scarlet.

Ah so awesome dude. Thats what I wanted to do. I wanted to get that Battle Tested and a 300 PP Battle Tested. Just can't justify the cost of PL glass at this point in my life. I'm excited to see the footage though. If they were to ever make a PL aluminum mount I might jump on that and a BT 18 and 300mm though.

Yea, Im getting the BT 18-85.

Im so stoked about it. It's a beast, but it will be an awesome counterpart to my small Scarlet.

Ill be getting some more Canon glass. Especially the Tokina 11-16. I really wish to get the Duclos cine mod, but the regular one will be just fine.

OH! SO number huh?
Mine is SO-0050943. That's good then right!?
Then I also have SO-0051264 for a Redmote... so that one can be taken out of the Scarlet line.
