  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Where in line are we and how manmy ordered?

Ordered today SO-0053379
 
Well my number is 761 and I ordered it about 17 hours after the announcement, money got taken from my CC today, but I don't reckon I will see the camera before Christmas. I don't reckon the number is sequential...

SO numbers are sequential. That is not in doubt.
 
SO-0051099- could be sooner than later....? I got in during the first 90 mins or so...for the Canon AL w side module....will add rest when I have an idea when it will actually ship....

That news is juicy and nubile for me... so at 1009 I've got a maximum of 159 ahead of me in line... possibly less if Brent does the 'adjust for denied phone orders' thing... bloody hell, I might have this thing in just over a month! Time to go buy some Canon glass EF glass... something I swore I'd never do since Canon screwed me by dumping the FD mount twenty years ago :D

Speaking of which.. seeing as my primary camera broke a month ago and I'm switching to RED it might be time for me to start selling off/giving away my FD glass... :P

where is the info on the adjust for denied phone orders? I was first denied, but then called back and placed my order.
 
If 850 is the starting benchmark for SCARLET then I am 146th in line,,,,WOOOOOO

I did the same...As when I tried to order online it froze up and wouldn't go through. I contacted my bomb squad rep via email. RED doesn't have an automatic send out for phone orders. I went to my RED account and my SO# was there under the open orders tab. She then confirmed the order with me via email making sure the information was correct.

Mine showed up a few days later than everyone elses did, but mine is a lower number than most as well. What time did you place the order? I think mine may have been adjusted as I attempted a phone order first. Maybe try emailing or calling your BombSquad rep?

How does this work? I am number 1044 and 1084 ... What place in line am I?

IF 850 is the benchmark with last 3 digits of SO(sales order number ) then you are 1044-850= 194th and 1084-850= 234th in line.

This is just an assumption....

Did you look through the whole thread and find that was the lowest number? If it is I'd be 85th.... Sweet.

edit: Where did the 850 come from? The first order number? as in 50850 was the start? I'm 50945...
 
Just to check this exact thing, I ordered a cap at 5:13 pm Nov3 and my SO is 50849. Then I eventually ordered my Scarlet X at 8:44 pm Nov 3 and that SO is 51183. If the SO numbers are in sequence that means I'm pretty close to the front of the line, hopefully in the first shipment.

Ah yeah mis typed that....was a moment of bliss and excitement. Although I'm somewhere after that more than likely. I think all those at the event that bought Scarlets are getting bumped in front of everyone. But I'd be overjoyed if my number came up on Dec 1
