mine is short, too short for mounting it on the noga or anything else.
I was surprised that bunch of other Epic-x owners got longer 18"version.
It was probably due to short supplies.
Buying a brand new one, will cost me around $360 (including shipping and tax)
Can I exchange mine for 18" and pay the difference?

Thanks

Albert

You can try!
FWIW I got an 18" for my BOMB when all I needed was the 7".
Go figure...

For once in my life I'm going to say 7 inches -> is not enough! ; )

I now have a far more impressive 18 inches--------------------> 260 bucks later.

I have heard of mythical purchases where you get 12 inches included but it seems the shortest version is what you get with a "pack purchase" If I could buy again i would not buy any package that delivers me this -> !@#%^$

If you bought the LCD separately (not part of a kit) you're supposed to have gotten the 12" cable. Mine came with a 7" and I contacted support, sent it back and they exchanged it for the 12" I should have had. I like the 12" length and use it most of the time, but I also have the 18" that came with my EVF.

I got the little shortie also.
Not nearly well enough endowed...
Fortunately I can whip out my old 10 footer when I need the reach.

Same here, but the 10 footer is sometimes a bit long.
Would it be a good idea to bring the 7" to a Technician to change the cable? Warranty, difficult soldering?
