I had the privilege of shooting with a set of lenses that looked really similar to this for a short period yesterday and was very impressed with its look. Can anyone tell me a thing or two about these. I am possibly abandoning my other purchases to get this set and need some info...

Super 16/16mm Zeiss Super Speeds are wonderful lenses...

Please be careful that the lenses you are looking to find were originally designed for 35- Super 35mm cameras.

The 16mm frame version sets are rather plentiful right now and will not be a very good match for 4-6K cameras, as they will vignette and the optics are designed to
fill a much smaller frame effectively.

Thanks Brandon, would you say it would be ok for the 2K 60fps of the Scarlet?

This particular lens pictured is not in the super35 set (18, 25, 35, 50, 65, 85mm) but from the super16 set (9.5, 12, 16, 25mm) so it won't cover sensor at 4K but yes it should work at 2K on Scarlet.

Thank you Kemalettin and Mikael...

Brandon, I actually found the image that I used listed on eBay. Not exactly sure what the value of these are or what I should be looking to pay.

those are newer MKIII but the one on the picture looks more like MKI (or B-speed if those ever existed for super16) and probably have the triangle iris and bokeh

Ok so is this a Standard or Super Speed? Forgive all of my questions guys, but this is getting a lil confusing.

We have a set of Superspeeds (MKII), and down to 12mm they cover 3K HD too, so they are perfect for HDTV (and fine for the BMCC too).

Nice look, I think there were scenes in Django Unchained shot with these.
