Hello,

I am looking to expand my vintage wide angle glass.
I already know about the leica summicrons, summiluxes and the zeiss contax. But was wondering if there are other good alternatives out there just for wide angle? Between 10mm and 24mm, the fast the better offcours. Between fstop 1.4 and 2.8

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Cheers

Also the Rokkor 21mm 2.8 is GREAT.

Forgot about that one but I agree completely. Great lens, as with most Minolta lenses.

Tokina/Tamron 17mm f3.5 as well.

Yup, we have several classics. Love em. My dad has been obsessed with minolta glass most of my life, so they are part of my child hood.

I've got the EKRAN 14mm 1.5. Great lens. Have you used it before?

i think it is russian glass - rare and expensive as compared to everything else suggested

Tristan, it's here closer than you might think;-) No need in Google when you have reduser at hand ahahahha
A link to EKRAN / CKBK / LOMO wides' datasheets of circa 1980 design, multicoated, - standard speed OKS2-14-1 f/2.5 T2.7 and the superspeed OKS3-14-1 f1.5 T1.7:

Thanks Illya. Looks like one lens in a great set of vintage lenses. I'd imagine building a set of these would be very difficult.
