Can I check that there is no phantom power on the weapon? this could be a massive headache as I need to run sound through camera a fair bit. I bought the stereo A box from WC but didn't want to buy/spend the money on the RED Volt expander for XLR.
Please tell this isn't true. Apart from that I love the new size and the results of the pro-res look fantastic

The base IO module has 3.5 stereo in but has no 48 V
REDVolt expander module has modular audio ports (mini or full size XLR) and 48 V power
Several 3rd party OMOD modules from offhollywood will offer audio with good A/D converters, level pots, LED monitoring and 48V phantom power.

I also sometimes have to rely on the 48V enabled mini-jack on EPIC for my 416 mic...
So I guess, initially with Weapon, we will have to dust off our Neumann external phantom power box... it is not too big and uses 9V batteries, similar to this one :
