At NAB this year Vince was at a booth and he was giving what I now realize was an extremely abbreviated version (as in 30-45 minutes) of this workshop. It was fascinating. I see he uses a lot of Spielberg to make his points. Correctly in my view, I think Spielberg is one of THE masters in camera-movement and how to shoot a scene.

I re-watched Citizen Kane 2 days ago and the influence of that movies deep focus cinematography on Spielbergs work is very clear - something Spielberg admitted to often.
