Hi John,

Are you saying that emails have been sent to the first 30 and so if we (I am #7) have not received the email to email you ?

Cheers, Tim

The way I read it is if you are in the top 30 orders, you don't have to send an email reply to get your Impero without the antenna, it will be automatically be sent to you. When you receive the finished version, ship the old one back. Everyone else can send an email requesting their unfinished Imperos, but they have to ship back their unfinished on their own dime to get the finished version.

Wow, way cool. I hadn't read the whole post through. So I should be getting mine, I'm #22 I believe.

Send it on, I will put it throught it's paces with pleasure. I have a short next week, but I guess I won't have it on time for that, but I have another one from April 13th through 19th that will be perfect for testing this. I always have my FF4 to fall back on if need be.

Cheers,
Damien

How on earth would he know that 25% of his emails haven't been opened? Is there a way to know if sent email has been opened? AOL used to have that feature, but I never knew such a beast existed in Yahoo.

Read/Recieve Receipts. Most proper email applications will support it, regardless of message type.

They could have an image embedded that triggers a counter when the image is viewed. That wouldn't be perfect but might be fairly accurate. Email marketers have some sorta sneaky ways to keep track of stats.

Yeah, except they are reliable only for tracking "when" not "if" as most programs allow you to decide if you want to send a read receipt or not, and most programs now open without images by default to thwart cookie trackers.

90% of the time people try to track my e-mails will get no read receipt and no cookie tracks as I think that people who chronically send read receipts on everything need to be messed with whenever possible :)

I once had The CGSociety send me an email asking if I wanted to be taken off their CGS Newsletter mailing list. They said I hadn't opened their newsletter in a while....

those get annoying after awhile....i get flooded with there crap too...

I'm in the same boat. . . and need that follow focus. . . the extra shipping is inconsequential to me. . . what I need is HARDWARE.

:-(
