Well, I've officially finished all the major scenes for my feature and am moving into post, so there's no point in anticipating this so much anymore. Here's to having this thing in my hands before the next one.

Cheers.

i'm reaching that point now..just starting..we will see when i got this piece

Hi Curt,
we're here & we'll stay here waiting but please don't lose the good habit of taking us updated!!!!!

Thanks.

We're patient...but we also curious, I love to see how Impero evolves but it's like a soap-opera, you want a bite a day!

Two updates a week would be good, even if they're brief and reconfirm that they are on track.

It was only around a week and a bit back that they said they are still good for clearing out all backorders by the end of March. Take that as you will or as history has shown.

Looking at how things are going. I will not buy into any promise for now. You will never know what is going to happen AGAIN, next. Sorry...no offence to anyone. I will take it as what history has shown

Well it's for you to decide, do as you please.

I'm quite happy i've paid the deposite on my first Red long time ago and paid the the RR mattebox in advance. Long wait - but great stuff - from great people.

i will never ever pay full for an undeveloped product again.
only exception...a billionaire running the company.
i was really dissapointed from the redrock.
i still have faith in viewfactor.

best experience with 3rd parties so far was with element technica.
if stephen says thursday things will happen on thursday.
his stuff is rocksolid well designed and worth the money.

Maybe they have other things to do than writing updates non-stop!

Not non-stop, I'm suggesting ten minutes, once or twice a week. And to certainly follow up promptly after they've failed to meet an estimated deadline.

Curt has been hanging around that slippery Erik Widding fellow lately. I think he's starting to pick up some of his bad habits. :)

Remember guys we have one engineer (Curt) and two owners working full time (John, William). We meaning William and John assemble full time. Element was an established business long before RED and has many more employees and equipment to product their products. We are not making excuses for the delays. Once we get everything in house them all the delays will be a moot point. We are starting the machining of the antenna mount today to confirm that its good to go. Once done we can get the final assembly done on the Imperos and get these things out the door. Bear with us for a few more days. We are working crazy hours. Try calling us at 1200 in the night, we are here.

John

John, thanks for the update!

I can certainly bear with you for a few more days. I'm still excited as ever about getting my paws on these.

It's not the hours you put in at work. It's the work you put in your hours.

I know I've been one of the people asking for updates(only on projected dates though) and on their backs, but if I were Curt or John and just read that post my head might explode.
