VFS Inclino, Imperio, Origo News ??

Curt is digging his own grave with this "don't want to waste time and communicate with customers" crap.. I kept faith long enough, and Curts "promise" on his forum to communicate more, unfortunately was just totally bullshit. I've waited for a update on his forum for the last three months without a single post from Curt. I got bored and now asked for a refund two weeks ago, and I needed to totally hammer them with emails to get a single respons (something I usually don't do, but history in the past shown that this is the only way to get a response)..

Just for the record on my previous post about my problem with the damage of the impero receiver, which was a damage cause purely by me using the wrong wiring on the unit, and Iam saying this to clear this out, Curt reply instantly to me , and he offered to ship a unit for free, with me paying only the shipping charges. Also about the upgraded motor, he said they are still working on the bugs to get the units 100% up to specs and that this will be available as soon as they are ready.
I dont know if this means anything to you guys, but even with these huge delays and all the problems, Iam still hoping this will happen, when they come out of their problems.
Thanks

It looks like the day we will be able to hold the Inclino/Impero FF in our hands is actually going to happen!

As per Curt's request i will not go into details about the reason of the delay or the infrequent updates but Viewfactor was actually perfecting the units all along and never gave up on them like many of us feared.

He said that he will announce shipping dates by the end of November.

There is no reason for the Inclino/Impero polemics to follow after this message as we have all heard it all a thousand times before. This was just an update for those of us who keep on waiting for this product.

I'll never believe again a single word from VFS, they stealed 2000$ from my company 2 and half years ago, that's the only fact.

Thanks Miltos! Good news! I never gave up on Curt and I am still hoping to hold the unit in my hands one day, so I am glad to hear anything positive at this point  Cheers!

I really hope Curt is making a comeback. I actually have a ff unit and have been crossing my fingers it doesn't break believing that I'd never get it replaced or fixed. I like the unit for the price and would really like to see it supported and advanced. He must realize that if he can deliver working reliable units at these prices that the market for them could be huge.

Problem is that those units feel obsolete somehow. Now they need to offer more then they already do. Secondly if I now receive those & then within short time they release pro units (which was the thought from the start) I will only feel cheated for waiting so long and then wanting to get the pro instead.

As for the lack of communication - THERE ARE NO EXCUSES. as a company they have stained there reputation indefinitely or at least so it should be.

Why is that? I am waiting for my Epic now (stage 2) but I am keeping my RED MX and I still need a FF for it. Unless RED comes out with it's own mind blowing FF I don't see anything that can compete with the Inclino/Impero at that price point.

Well everything is relative. I've already had to invest in ARRI systems etc so this system feels like a plastic toy I can live without. Also, 3 years down the line it's likely that there will be other offerings that probably will be more interesting. Not necessarily but highly likely.

I don't know what they're planning since there's no communication, but if it's all they come up with in 3 years then it does feel obsolete. The money I've invested with them would have bought me one more ARRI system, which would have made it's money back at least 2 fold - so yes I'm bitter and will be even more so if I will receive their plastic equipment, just to find out they've developed the pro system on the side.

If they manage to come with pro system and let us "upgrade" for favourable prices, then they might get back on track, otherwise I personally feel a lot of non writable things......

Its the end of November. And the shipping dates have been posted where?

Because Curt has done the dirty on all of us that paid up front...taken our money, strung us along, delivered nothing and now done a runner from everyone and anyone trying to contact him...sorry, i forgot semi dodgy Origo's and a handful or Inclino's that seem to be very very dodgy have been delivered to a few.

It's all just a load of s---t really. I'm up for putting some of my $ up for someone to camp on his doorstep and get something from him????

Indeed, Frank! How is this possible?

Maybe he bought it used from someone???? There have been one or two for sale on here.

If anyone would like to rent mine to see the system, I am more than happy to ship it anywhere in the US (I was a beta tester before you jump on me.)

Matthew
