For me Nano clamp seems to be to heavy. Doesn't Zacuto or Cavision or someone else have any small tiny fixture for these kinds of things?

ARRI does a nice one (better IMO). I have it and will wait and see what is the best option ET speedy clamp or ARRI's. (Im #31, so I will be getting mine as soon as the antenna's are up and running)

PS I think that the guys who took the shipment now should wait until you've finished the orders off, before they can send in and get updated. I'll buy you guys plenty of  :sifone:

We bought 2 Manfrotto 386B NANO CLAMP some months ago, they're perfect for every light weight accessory.
I don't think is suitable for a drive or a battery but great for a Decimator, the RED lcd (5.6") or the Impero receiver.
It comes with two 3/8 and 1/4 holes and works both on 15 and 19mm rods.
Our camera's are mostly ET equipped but 125$ for one kind of rods only is way too much.
I paid ours 386B NANO CLAMP around 30€ at Manfrotto's Spain distributor and B&H got them for 29.95$!

I'm really proud of the only Italian piece I've got on camera!

I bought two nano clamps to go with some light panels and I found them to be all but useless... Holding a VF receiver is great idea!! And I'm glad it was suggested.

Never hold anything with a nano clamp that could potential swing into a lens or cause any damage if its slips (cause it will slip).

I regret buying cheap yet again!

If it takes you 3-5 minutes to calibrate a BarTech you are doing something wrong. While I agree auto-calibration is easier, I have seen 1AC's manually calibrate in 30 seconds or less. I have never worked on a movie and can do it in under a minute.

The receiver is 11 ounces. It's heavier because the housing is aluminum instead of plastic.

Yes, calibrating the Bartech takes less than a minute once you know what you're doing.
Not really an issue...

Just got word from our plastics guy down the street... parts are going to be in our hands this afternoon for the long range version of Impero - hooray!. We will be building up units this afternoon and over the weekend.

woohhhhh.........!!!!!! Great !

Great news Curt!

As to mounting the Impero - didn't have time to test it but the ET EVF mounting bracket - which gets in the way of the Birger antenna - will fit on a 19mm rod and has a 1/4 screw. It takes up a couple inches of rod space but for anyone who is considering getting a Ztudio mount it at least recycles the EF bracket.

The Nano clamp needs a double male 1/4" - I can't see that ever being an elegant solution.

Hey guys, I thought you might like to see a picture of the Inclino in action on a RED. However, just once I would like to get a good picture of me where I am not walking, bending over, or looking crossed eyed...sigh:)

This looks not so good.
1. Is there a room to mount a clip-on matte box on the lens?
2. The focus motor needs to have a bracket so it doesn't come straight from the rod but rather you can create an angle between the rod and the focus gear (I may be not expressing my self clear, but whoever is working with remote focus knows what i mean). Unless there is a bracket there and the motor is just set in a straight line.
3. The motor looks quite big. if that is an Arri standard it can explain the ratio but still it looks quite big even for Ultra, Cooke S4 and even Master.
Would like to hear more from people who are experiencing the viewfactor system.
I am waiting on mine for ... who counts the months, and I was hoping it would be a handy system and replace the old manual style on a regular use.

Nice! What Steadicam is that? Is the focus puller using the Red LCD?

I've been holding the LCD for a few months with a nano clamp and no slipping. I think there originally was a piece of plastic on the grippy parts of the clamp. I took those off...
