  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Love the case! Not sure if I qualify for it but I did order 3 Imperos and 5 Inclinos in total (plus I'll be getting a fourth Impero to complete my Birger mount set shortly).

Thanks for the update Curt. Getting close!

Curt, Is there anyway you can still honor the same price on 2 more inclinos for those of us that are paid in full since day one? I really like the entire set with case.

One more Vote For This...

First, let me say that I am stoked about this product.
I shoot with a HDV camera with a 35mm adapter, but plan on getting into Scarlet when they start shipping.

Anyway...

Since I shoot with 35mm lenses, this product, no matter what camera I'm shooting, is DEFINITELY needed.

Since I run a "little rig" with camera brand batteries and not something like Anton Bauer, can I use this device with some cheap sony batteries to power a D-TAP bundle?

Would this item power it?

... Just have it....
you can easily assemble for next setup.

Funny.

We shipped out a few units to some locals just for quick feedback on the new setup... initial reactions have been great. The Impero-Birger combo seems to work really well - latency is nill and the resolution is wonderful. We have a few Imperos/Birger combos out with some great DPs, I'd expect to see some cool posts relating to this soon.

We need to check a few things before mass exodus and full scale shipping:

1) Range on the newest Class 1 modules that I received a few days ago... they are supposed to be good up to 394 feet but I'd be happy if they go to even 200 ft. Current Class 2 modules seem to be good up to around 30 feet reliably.

2) Error recovery when a connection is lost.

3) Low battery indication. I totally forgot this and luckily some people reminded me that it would be nice to have.

Assuming all that goes well I'd expect to have fully functioning units to the first 30-ish customers next week. Please be patient with us, we are going to make this happen.

BTW.. shipping this out today to one lucky customer... Others to follow tomorrow.

Great Curt, finally !

"Just have it."

Just have the COCO or the Impero/Inclino?

I know I want the Impero/Inclino.
I just want to know if this COCO device from Bebob Engineering can power a D-Tap bundle for me.

Thanks for the help!

I think the Impero/Inclino would draw too much for the Bebob.

Any solutions any one can throw out?

You will simply need a bigger battery to handle the power draw from the motors. The solution depends on the kind of camera & rig you are using. Most of these setups have lightweight 15mm rods so you could then use a Zacuto battery mount plate, buy the batteries (V-mount or Anton Bauer 3-stud) and then power off the P-Tap. This will also let you power other accessories such as onboard monitor, video transmitter, downconverter, light, etc.

Paul,

Yes we will be offering the case with cutout. We are currently finalizing the price after we get our foam supplier sorted out. We custom cut the foam in house. You can expect the price to be competitive as usual.

Everything is looking good. Did you get the email I sent you?

Visited View Factor. The first 30 should be shipped soon. Saw the interface with Birger mount - perfect. Lim

Where do we find which order number we are?
