If you got your order in then you will take priority.

There will always be people that work around the system and get cameras quicker though, For example Dealers that also had deposits in received a ton of cameras yesterday, and they can of course turn around sell those to anyone immediately in line or not.. that is their business.

There is also a revolving inventory now... and yesterday was so insane we literally couldn't get all the cameras that were ready to ship onto all the Fedex trucks. just because you didn't get allocated yesterday doesn't mean you are not going to get allocated today or tomorrow... we are building cameras non-stop .

I am totally realistic and grounded with the insanity you guys probably had yesterday, even today, and probably for the coming weeks.

I called my rep 11 minutes after everything went live to make my switch and she picked up. We both had a good laugh because I was honestly shocked that I got through. Felt like I was caller nine on some radio call in contest. lol

I was just curious because I know some peeps around my neck of the woods that have a Scarlet-W since April now. Love seeing what they are doing with that bad boy. Been frothing at the bit to jump in on the action.

Then when you gave the S-W to E-W offer, I got incredibly stoked, but nervous that I was hopping yet another line.
Let me just say, I've been in a line for over 2 years now as I put my original deposit on a camera from the brand we don't talk about here, lol. Waited indefinitely for that debacle, then saw the early release of the Scarlet-W and jumped in that line.
I've now jumped into the E-W line. I sensed it as an opportunity of a lifetime as you said this was a very special circumstance and such a cool executive gesture that you've given us waiters (NOTHING like the experience with waiting on that other camera), so I knew I had to pluck that fruit from the tree.

Just hope to see that light at the end of the tunnel. No need convincing me that that light is glorious. I know it is. Just hope this tunnel ends soon.

Yeah, I actually pulled the trigger on a used Scarlet-X on eBay. Great seller, great camera. It's been able to get jobs done in the interim.
I've loved what I've been getting from this Mysterium-X Scarlet and can't even imagine the quality and capability jump I'm going to get into the Epic-W, but yes, that will be the prize for sure!

Yeah. Kind of forgot about the extra $$$ we paid for the CF Epics. Kind of a bone considering there was a $22,500 credit for CF Epic to Weapon. Now just $15,000.

I e-mailed my rep asking for the 0% financing. Haven't heard back at all (Dec 10 order). I'm guessing they are taking a snowball approach and getting quicker/easier orders out first and then they'll get to us that want to go that route.

Like you, I'm in no hurry so I'm not complaining, just responding.

Most importantly, Thanks again to the whole RED team for taking such good care of us.

It's fascinating to see how many edge cases you all have to deal with to get all of this done, so hang in there, congratulations, we appreciate it, and well done.

I have a request/suggestion, and maybe I'm just missing seeing this in the store but I couldn't find a standalone side SSD module for DSMC2 cameras.

One of my cameras is an Mg going to Weapon Helium.

I already have lots of mounts, and a side kick etc. and my ssd side module is functions perfectly. I totally understand why the upgrade from Mg to Weapon Helium does not include those components. It's also super cool that I get the longer 2 year warranty which I hand't though about when I was working through all the options. This guy is a very happy camper.

But for those of us pedants that worry that the camera being badged as Helium 8K on the front, and Dragon on the side could lead to confusion, it would be nice to have the option to purchase a generic "RED" side SSD module.

This is super low priority, but I think it would be a nice option to have at some point when the entire organization isn't all moving at Mach III with its hair on fire.

To be clear, I'm not seeking any trade in or credit, just the the opportunity to purchase the RED branded housing or SSD side module

You will get a new media bay when you upgrade to a HELIUM camera. Just RED on WEAPON and RED with EPIC-W underneath.

When you are allocated, you will get email with full instructions.

On or before. Depends on volume…

There are no deposits. But when you are allocated, you will need to pay full amount.

As long as you get allocated for your SCARLET-W before we end the upgrade program.

Understand Brent. But watching newly announced cameras fly off the shelves and delivered to customers is somewhat frustrating to folks that have been waiting for months. Maybe I am wrong with my perception of the availability of these new cameras, but it seems like the Raven and Scarlet-W folks are taking a "back seat" to the 8K S35 and 8K VV folks. Don't get me wrong, being able to upgrade to an 8K S35 camera from a Raven for $19K is a great deal, but as a small company, we can't afford that jump yet and just want to get our Raven so we can start making "beautiful, eye candy videos" for our clients. Just venting a little bit Brent, sorry for griping. Have a great day and get some rest!

People upgrading will speed up the process for you. Helium sensors seem to be easier to make.. The dragon sensors take time.. With less people in line, you will get yours sooner!
