  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Upgrade Paths

Technically speaking, the $535 is not APR % but a standing fee they charge for all their leasing financing plans no matter the term length. The 0% APR is true for the 12 month term option.

I don't know if this is confirmed but on the Epic-W thread on facebook someone said that they were a December 11 Scarlet-W pre-order and their rep said it would be a several month wait for an Epic-W.

No plans on upgrade on SIDEKICK material…

You guys are assuming that since we are “out of stock” of what was ready to ship this AM, that there will be some huge gap. Which is fair, as we have done that a bunch of times, ha.

No, more will be built tomorrow and statuses on RED.com will be updated as we dust settle…

All I can say is that the deal to upgrade from a CF Weapon to a Helium at $4700 dollars is pretty amazing..... How can one say No?

There was some mention a while ago of paying an extra amount to keep your existing body ( in my case an Epic MX ) when upgrading to the Epic W, anyone heard anything about this?

So then I am guessing that those of us waiting for our Mg package (after sending in our Epic Dragon that has been executed) "have to" cancel that order and have their Epic D upgraded to Epic-W brain only for the same price we were quoted for the Mg package ($14500). By the time all of that happens how long of wait do we have then? Many of us have been without cameras for months.

If a purchase order was generated for me, does that mean a camera was allocated (and is ready to be shipped)? because Heather generated the PO and I'm waiting on the approval of the 0% financing... Worried I'm in for another wait...

We're Dec 10 brothers right? I haven't gotten an email reply from Heather yet so I hope we both have minimal waiting.

They probably were talking about the loophole where you could order a Scarlet-W yesterday then jump to Epic-W with the deal for almost the second price and keep your camera.. but that ended yesterday.
 
Amazing release RED team.

Jarred or Brent, any way you could give a hint as how today's swaps and upgrades to the new cameras could impact those still in the S-W queue? Big chunks taken out? Decent amounts? A little here and there?

That's insane. I haven't heard back from Heather (although I did call her earlier and she said she was going through the emails so I get off quickly) or SOCAL but it's looking like this week might be a bust.
