AeonCine just released an updated video on their Titan hand-held system.

Look forward to actual hardware but seems very promising.

First there was Optimus Prime... Then there was Megatron.. Then there was Titan the kick-ass-camera-transformer ;) Autobots are so 2011...

Swat rails and rosettes? Looks fancy... though an animation doesn't say much about the actual product.

Didn't the original thread get deleted?

Glad to see the Titan return.

I remember following the original thread and then, poof, it was gone.

Update - Thanks Bob. Thought I was going nuts.

I believe they felt they was advertising without paying. They had a long thread with all the prototype designs and then poof....
Hi guys,

Yes this is true. We announced our plans and at the same time started to go through the channels for sponsoring. In retrospect we were clumsy and got carried away. We were novices when it comes to forum politics and had been told it was ok as long as we applied for sponsorship. No matter what. We have apologised and applied again. Unfortunately, it seems, as if most slots for sponsorship are occupied. So we haven't really gotten any further with that. Not sure how much I'm allowed to actually say, but hopefully that at least clears up that question. Feel free to chat away. I just don't know how much we're allowed to participate.

Thank you for your interest.

It will be amazing to use the same rig when shooting on a tripod as when going handheld. Time to clean out some old gear, I have a feeling it will be replaced soon :)

As i see it.. Its made from a mind (Frederik C.) That´s been in the frontline for many year´s - and knows precisely what is needed on a shoot (keyword is Time / Speed). Knowing Frederik for the last many year´s - I have a big respect for him - Just the fact that he´s been sitting down and taken the time to develop this amazing rig. I can't resist it ... I want one right away.

Having one like Fred in the field and clearly´s see´s the demand for a handheld clever solution and then developing the tool that will make our life (shoot´s) Easyér for all of us.

The product look´s so thought trough - Looking forward for wearing this beauty on my shoulder.

Amazing ...

Any tips on a nice battery plate that will fit on the battery mount? I looked at the Bebob Rouge hotswap. But would be good to know whats else out there?

Not sure if I'm violating anything, but I dont think so. My experience is that quad redvolts is more or less the same weight as a v-mount. So only reason why I would have a quad module is... Well honestly I don't think I'll b interested in it. I might b interested in the dual. It's only I want to keep the camera as small as possible and with v-mount batt I can distribute weight/ position it anywhere. If I truly want to go smaller I will switch to side handle. As for bebop. I'm ordering those. Simply because if I don't have the side handle on - for whatever reason - then its still hot swap and bebop seems to b the best option. It's not very heavy (could b a couple of mm thinner and maybe not offer 2min batt time), but it has a nice LCD indication and will let you know when it's time to change. As for battery adapters - we've looked into IDX and other manufacturers but decided for bebop.

After checking out the final quad redvolt battery module... I think I go with Fredriks suggestion and go with Bebop... 2 minutes is enough for a swap, and I rather swap batteries a couple of times per day than constantly swap out batteries left and right ;)

I guess one of the Globalmediapro Battery 230WH would keep the Epic/Scarlet running for quite a while, and make excellent counter balance aswell?

Got a tips about the ENDURA ELITE batteries from IDX... Even though they are 100WH less that Globalmediapros they are IATA flight friendly :) Sounds pretty great..

Now its only the Titan missing (And the stage 3 Epic-X) and Im ready for anything haha!
