The travel charger for the RedVolt.. Does anyone have any thoughts about using it to charge the XLs? would be much easier to carry around on quick jobs, it's so light and nimble... I know it doesn't fit the XLs, but a hacksaw and some gaffer tape would remedy that problem.. the pins are in the same place... seems like to a waste to get rid of for only $50 on the used market.. I'm just speaking hypothetically of course.. don't want anyone getting mad at me..

interesting - do the same problems with not charging happen to the travel charger as they do with the quad do you know?

if it were me I'd probably take 2 of the travel chargers cut them off center and glue them together to the size of the xl, sand down any extra glue that may push against the battery and see how that goes. I think Its likely that it you get the measurements right that it the battery will be able to click in.

mika...wait...whaat???

are you sure??

the quad is quite fast and usually the travel charger is quite slow...no??

The charging between the quad charger and the travel charger is the same. A while back they said that the redvolts can not be charged faster than that travel charger without damaging them.
