Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
This weekend, the skies are set to put on a spectacular performance for much of the world when a rare supermoon lunar eclipse will cast a reddish hue on the moon and make it appear significantly brighter and bigger than usual.
- Hawaiians will likewise only be able to catch the tail end of the show.
-Depending on the amount of cloud cover, meanwhile, the rest of the US and Canada will enjoy a clear, unobstructed view of the phenomenon which will last an hour and 12 minutes.
-The show on that side of the planet also has a reasonable start time: 10:11 pm EST.
- For those living in Europe and Africa, meanwhile, catching a glimpse of the celestial play will mean having to stay up until 2:11 am GMT.
- Mid-eclipse is 2:47 am GMT; 10:47 pm EDT
End of eclipse, 3:23 am GMT; 11:23 pm EDT
The last supermoon lunar eclipse combo occurred in 1982, and won’t happen again until 2033.
