I am excited to announce that colorist Ian Vertovec at Light Iron will be doing the color grade on my forthcoming, debut film, "TimeScapes." Ian has made a huge name for himself as colorist on big features like "Social Network" and "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." Everyone here already knows that Light Iron is basically running the table on 4K DIs right now, especially on Red-acquired projects, like mine. We start the 4K DI mid March.

I'm very grateful to Michael, Ian, Paul, and everyone at LI for taking on this small, personal project of mine, when I know for certain that it means turning down much higher-paying projects for LI. It means a great deal to me.

Great news Tom! Can't wait to see the final product.

Would you have it ready by NAB??? Maybe show it on REDUSER party in Vegas?

Congrats Tom !
Can't wait to see it.
I admire your work and have a ton of respect for all the talent at LI.

You are definitely in good hands with LI. I really look forward to seeing the film!

Man I'd love to be a fly on the wall for the grading.

I concur with everything in Justin's post. Except, I am waiting for the 4K downloadable. :wink5:

2560p option will be open as well, for those of us with 2560, 30" monitors.

Congratulation Tom!!!

This is a power move on both sides, can't wait to see the film!
