I'm currently on a shoot and we are now shooting MOS. The TC reset and we can't get the camera to show Time of Day TC. Unfortunately for me I can't trouble shoot the camera to fix it. We have the ToD set but we when change it, the TC doesn't change. When we change the timezone, the hour marker changes. What settings needs to be selected in the Timecode menu to show proper ToD TC?

Thanks!

Menu > Settings > Project > Timecode

Then choose TOD

FWIW both timecodes are always recorded (tod + edge) and you just choose which one to display in camera UI (can see both in RCX)

Gotcha thank you. Edge TC is jammed?

Edge TC doesn't get jammed. It only runs when you're rolling. Meaning, Edge TC moves forward for each recorded frame on your mag.

Long story longer:

You record exactly 36 minutes worth of footage from 8am to 10am. Your TOD will continuously run and will show timecode values from 08:00:00:00 -> 10:00:00:00 but your Edge TC will stop and start with media run/stop and only click to 00:36:00:00.
