  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

So if that is any indication on the demand for Epic-W... you better get your orders in quick come tomorrow.

I really really was hoping we would get through at least this week without going into backorder since we bulked up so much... now Im pretty sure it wont last the day.

I have an Epic D and a MG Weapon that I want to become an Epic W and a Helium Weapon. The funny thing is depending on which camera gets upgraded to which it costs a lot more one way than the other.

The question i haven't seen answered is are there just as many Weapon Heliums stacked up for delivery as there are Epic Ws? I see pics and hear Jarred talk about the big build up but I wonder how many of the Heliums there will be available.
 
Anyone want to say or guess at what kinds of orders will require contacting your rep and which will require going to RED.com?

I'm guessing all the current-deposit-holder's upgrading to different camera's would be done through the reps, while the registered-camera-owner upgrades could be done on the RED site.
 
I'm so pumped for tomorrow. Another step towards my first RED – and an EPIC-W at that! I dreamed of this day happening all through high school and college and now, here it is!

I'm most curious about the S-W financing option, cause that will make the difference between me shooting straight away or sitting on a brain until I can earn the extra cash for a good accessories load-out!

Either way, it's going to be incredible. Thanks Jarred and Brent for the incredible offer, and thanks for being so patient with all of us, haha!

i think the question is: will anyone care to read anything extra Jarred and Brent share before pressing the order button in order to be ready in line ?

I think there might be a surprise or two in this, and with the rush we miss something! I would suggest posting the info first, then opening the pandora box! 11.00 info, 11.05 all hell breaks loose!

Thats pretty much my take on it. I have a Epic D that is in the process of getting upgraded to CF Weapon but I want to change that to Epic W, I'm sure this would be impossible through the site.

For me knowing that Epic-W can shoot 24p sealed the deal...now I am waiting to see if I can afford to step up to Weapon Helium...

I've tried to configure a W package similar to my current Dragon setup and I'm at about 22500 USD. (With my Dragon traded in). I would figure at least 42k for a Weapon Helium package. I would need a financing plan for those extra 20 000 USD to make it work. The "dream scenario" is that Drunken financing somehow makes this work, but I would say me living outside the US makes things probably less possible. Maybe you guys get a chance. I will "try" to see today if any bank over here might give a hand into it but seems hard. Hoping everyone gets the camera they aim for!

Brent will we actually NEED to contact our reps or will we be able to self guide the sale through the shop login/eligible cameras as we've been able to do with past upgrades?
