  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hehe...Gosh Jarred...I think we all blame you for being such a bad-a** at making cameras and making us spend all of our money. I do think you're going to have an even longer line for the Epic-W though. It's going to be too good to turn down.
 
My R1 just started getting a bit nervous. It thinks you might try to lure it away in exchange for the new kid on the block. No way you'd offer a trade in on a camera about to hit the decade mark. Or would you? Hmmm....

That 12fps photo had my $ feeling safe, yet feeling like Jarred had made a bad business decision.
Now the 24fps photo has my $ is uneasy again and faith is restored in Jarred.
 
The two things I was really hoping for have been confirmed; 8K at 24fps and 4K ProRes (Yes, I know - not both at the same time. That's fine with me). The low light capabilities and anything else is just gravy. Thank you Jarred for those spilled beans. My blood pressure is a lot lower now.

To be fair giving us most of the perks of a camera 20K more expensive with a 10k discount is probably the bad business decision.

It's amazing that RED doesn't hold press conferences, launch events, etc., yet, their announcements on Reduser gain more attention/attraction on this thing called the world-wide-web than those companies that spend thousands upon thousands only to have a live event/release flop. RED is overtaking and saturating the industry. It's been a long time in the making, but it's finally happening kids.

Oh and on a side note...Jarred...it's time to start Vlogging because you guys are insane and people would be insane not to watch/follow you. Anyone else here who would watch? Hehe

Jarred, this is downright torture. Feels like watching a cliffhanger Game of Thrones season going to its finale.

After this, I can only hope for a knocking my socks of finale, Shyamalan style (the "good" Shyamalan era, mind you).

Seriously you guys should be writting scripts for suspense, thriller movies.
 
Reduser and this thread keeps me off of tinder. lol
i think the last few pages about 8k fps and prores has changed my life.
 
I'm so excited I don't think I can sleep.
