  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The limited white Helium Weapons 8K s35 will be $59k but that is a one day only thing tomorrow and they will ship tomorrow. No deposits, no reservations, and no waiting.

They will likely go fast at which point all the rest of you can all just pretend this didn't happen and forget about all this Helium nonsense till October :)

I might be brave, but I am not in the bank robbing business :))

That said, October is a great month for me as I was born that month :P

*I will only be able to upgrade from my MgW, unfortunately. So I will just watch the white troopers from a distance till an upgrade becomes available.
 
Safe to assume that specs will be coming out with these limited release Helium cams?

When can we expect some Helium specs? (Color science / Dynamic range / Highlights rolloff..)

Adopt early from Red and it never fails.

Not getting a forged weapon was my first mistake. Checking Reduser at 4 am was my best decision. Now the refresh game continues... So much for going back to sleep.

Never wished I had a spare $59k lying around more than I do at this precise second.

This is awesome news for those that are brave and have the cash - just wish I was one of them.
 
I browse this website at least 20x a day for updates regarding info on the SW for my husband... But hearing about the white helium weapon has made me very brave, however my bank account does not share that same feeling 

Can't wait to see pictures of the lucky few who snag those this morning. I'll continue to wait until the husband receives his SW. (Seriously, watching how excited he gets everytime he shoots on a RED is worth the wait and price to me). Hopefully we can power through the first two days of pre-orders within the next month or two!
 
Tiffany .. welcome to RedUser. Your husband is a lucky guy to have an understanding wife when it comes to cameras.. I am also lucky to have similar support. Especially when it comes down to new car or new camera.. I hope your Scarlet arrives soon.

Glad to hear you have similar support! And thank you! I'm sure we will get it soon, he pre-ordered fairly quickly on the second day. However, I'm not so sure what he will think about me posting around here on RedUser just yet.. So I'll probably stay ghost. Just trying to stay informed/educated on these cameras.

Would this camera be correctly classified as Epic-W???? Tasty.

Edit: NO..wait..that will be a whole OTHER camera....oh my.
 
Time to start saving and get a few good gigs to be ready for HELIUM.... Heheheheheh
