  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My kit is growing fast now... just the side handle and a new tripod is all that I still need.

i got my allocation mail on feb. 9th and made the wire transfer for the outstanding little amount, on feb. 9th. on feb. 13th the funds have been at my account.

today, feb.29th i still have no camera, and i got no shipping mail.
 
Scarlet #00182, with Canon Al, named Limbo, ordered on the 8:th of November, SO-53035, arrived today in Stockholm, Sweden. :)
 
Everybody seems to have a 13lbs package... mine is 14, any idea why the discrepancy? I didn't order anything different. Side Handle by any chance?
 
Its looking like the latest scarlet order batch cut off around SO-8200.
So close. If I was a betting man I'd say that its gonna be another few weeks before I hear about my cam (SO-8558).

All good. Got plenty to do.

- are you short any other components, like REDmote?
- Weights are "approximate" so maybe someone at Fedex needs glasses
- RED included a "bonus surprise" in your package; like Crackerjack
- your is made of lead rather than aluminum? :smiley:

Got my shipping notification this morning. Strange thing is that it says it's 17 pounds. I've noticed most people's are around 13 to 14 pounds. I've received everything but the brain and side handle. I'd be surprised if the side handle was there as well as it's the one thing that hasn't been charged. Anybody else have a "17 lbs" package?

Scarlet #1474, SO #2959, has landed but I am not yet there to bond with it. :-( Soon, though.

BTW - mine was 12.7 pounds. I must have gotten the carbon fiber screws. :smiley:
 
Since RED is closed tomorrow, Thursday March 1st, I'm hoping that they're gearing up a big allocation day for Friday March 2nd.

From this thread earlier in the week, seems like a lot of orders were allocated end of last week.

I hope so too. I've been on edge all week, hoping that the day would come.
 
Me too man, "on edge" is an understatement.

We're in the same boat, I ordered Dec. 28th.
 
Scarlet #01471 arrived in Austin yesterday, OR# 2617. He will be named Fozzie. Gonna try to shoot a mini-doc Friday with him. Luckily I got in my Wooden Camera Battery plate came in along with the Global media batteries. Gonna have to be selective in my footage, Only have one 64gb card. Something is due for delivery Friday but it could be Red base plate or the RedMag. Can't wait to roll.
 
BTW - in my case, I didn't get an email ahead of time with my tracking number. Apparently Fedex just screwed up (??) and I didn't even know it had been shipped yet.
