  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The List - Please maintain

Have not paid much attention to the list here. Where are folks getting the 4 digit SO # from. I ordered back in Nov and have a 7 digit SO number . Are you guys just using the last 4 digits? Also what if the first 3 are not all zeros? Just curious.
 
First three are also 005 over here.

I tried to update the list that I have received my scarlet but it wont let me edit text. I am 2038 and I picked up my Scarlet in irvine on the 7th of Jan.
Great camera just like everyone else on here has said.

Congrats! Justin Harrison keeps the list. No one else can edit it. Just let him know and he'll update it.
 
Scarlet SO# 1134 shipped today.
Can AL Mount with all the fixins ordered.
Will be in TN by noon tomorrow.
19 pound package so not sure what's all included.

Actually, no it's not. If you look at the photo, the bar goes straight off the side of the brain. That's not an Outrigger Handle. The Outrigger Handle comes off at an angle.

Whichever one of RED's handles that is in the photo, that's actually what I've been looking for for a while. A handle that comes straight off the side of the camera perpendicular to the brain. I know that Wooden Camera has a handle like that, but it looks like now RED is making one. Anyone know anything about this one?
 
Brian don't sweat it, that's an Outrigger Handle on the dummy side, on the top of the grip is a Red Arm that has a Bomb EVF attached (out of frame).

If u don't believe me go check it out ;)

Yea from the looks of it, the bar is actually not going straight out its going back slightly. Its the outrigger just flipped around to the other side.

I do believe you. I'm just wondering what that handle is! :-)

So, when you were there, were you able to verify that it comes off the brain at an angle? If so, then you're absolutely right; it would be an outrigger handle.


EDIT:
After even closer examination, it does appear to come out an angle. Arghh! I was really hoping RED was going to come out with a handle that comes straight off the camera!

Back to WC, I guess...
 
It's actually a great rig if you don't have a SideHandle. I'm gonna be using a WC Easy Stick w/ a CPM Filmtools 1/4-20 Handle that I had laying around. I think it's better since you get the straight edge u want then double the hole realty space (for a top handle) and have the option of removing the side grip in a few sec.

What I really like was their Epic set up.

My roommate happened to snag a pic.

The DSMC Top Mount is pretty rad I really loved the set up. This is the ultimate all-around-build. Studio, Run'n Gun

They mentioned the Gunner and the "Adjustable" Top Mount will be in stock with in the week.
