  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

emailed my rep on Thu, camera is still being processed...

Scarlet-X #840 arrived today! Name pending, no LCD, no sidehandle, but truly one of the best days of my professional life. I've attached all my lenses to it just to stare at this bad boy. Cannot wait to shoot some images all over NYC and North Carolina and put them through the ringer.

A huge and forever thank you to everyone at RED! Y'all have built this company into an innovative powerhouse and, as they say, the best is yet to come! I've been a site reader since the earliest days and I'm honored to finally be a part of the family. Great days and motion pictures ahead!

As someone possibly in the next allocation group, the slow-down isn't very reassuring! :emote_headwall:
 
Slowing?

Seems to me it has actually stopped. Did anyone get allocated this week?

I bet they ran into an issue with a part or two running out of stock. Hopefully they are cranking out what they can and when the missing parts arrive maybe a ton of cams will ship in a very short time.

That's my new theory anyway. Cause it does seem like things have slowed to a crawl this week, but I could be wrong. Who knows?

It does appear to be slowing down a little bit. We will see what happens hopefully this means a burst is coming.

There is also the possibility that there are people being allocated and receiving cameras who are not members of the forums.
 
Does anyone know when RED will actually charge the deposit ?

I ordered on the 30th Dec and still nothing was charged on the card yet :c

Seems like it's really slow moving...
