  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I've been setting it to sort by

@ Event? -> and then by timecode which is the *actual* shipping order. SO numbers are only half meaningful and confusing IMO.

It appears now though it's sorted by ... nothing at all. :D But if we just want it by SO order I'll leave it be. It's just confusing though because then some orders like #2000+ will get shipped before 900 since they were at the event etc.

haha! well what i was thinking is that not all of the timecodes have times, some of them are just dates so it may not end up correct. At least by SO# we can see that the ones that are waaaay off were either at the event or they had some mix up and got a call in.

either way, i think that it may pan out better if we just keep in in SO# order. i'm surprised we've kept it organized for this long haha

Well the "calculated ship date" technically operates on SO *except* for phone orders which at present are manually "Adjusted" so that their SO number puts them in the correct SO place. Otherwise yeah the "Calculated" just operates on SO.

It also puts Ti PL people ahead.. since again they get theirs first (up to a certain SO number). My view would be people should just enter it wherever and then every now and then they'll get sorted into the proper order.

So do we want to sort by shipping order or by pure SO order?

I don't want to impose my will upon the masses if I'm the only one championing shipping order.
 
Is the RED manufacturing system currently at full steam or should we expect another round of ramping in the coming months? When could we expect all the stages to be fully shipped (soliciting best guesstimates)?
 
I think Gavin is right.
I'm SO# 909 - Funds were drawn yesterday - but my scarlet hasn't shipped as yet - so I don't think the SO number should be taken as a very accurate indication.

Perhaps this has already been mentioned, but if you're comfortable doing so, I think it would be a good idea for everyone to put the SO# for your Scarlet in your signature that why many of the same posts, "What SO#" to your responses for folks who do not read through the entire thread will be eliminated... just a thought

My funds have been in place since I ordered so I have no idea whats going on. It will probably just ship one of these days i'd assume. I got a fedex notification on my last 2 packages from RED before I heard from RED themselves.

Trying to occupy my time so I dont email the rep...its so hard!
According to the list
8 AL Canon's ahead of me and 32 PL mounts. 40 Cameras.
1 Lane = 32 cameras QC of 3 days so thats 10 cameras a day
So maybe i'll hear within 2-5 days.
