  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thank You.

We are the ones who owe you a big thank you Jarred. You continue to push the envelope and you do it with the kind of passion that is very rare in any industry. I feel as a part of a family and I hope it will always stay like this.

Always grateful to the RED family. Everyone I've had the chance to meet or work with from RED has been great to me and it has been sincerely pleasure to meet them. I can only hope to bring as much passion to the work I produce, as the passion you guys put behind these tools.
Having a RED and being part of the RED community has changed my approach to my work in a very good way, up to the point where it has changed my life in some way or another, which may sound like a crazy statement but it's true.

I can't wait to see what's down the road from here. The things that you guys already know about but are under wraps, things unknown, and to the dreams waiting to become reality years from now.

I have to say THANKS to you Jarred for the great team you have all around the world. From when I bought the Scarlet W I have always received great customer service from great people, even if I had some problem with the camera in the beginning they have been SUPER nice with me and solve the problems quickly. I have moved to Epic W and I really look forward to start to work with this new gem! Working with Red is not only great for my clients but is a real pleasure to be able to transform ideas in reality in the best way possible with the best tools in the world.

Thank you Jarred for providing the rest of us the opportunity and resources to play alongside the world's best. You and your team have never stopped pushing the boundaries of the industry and I don't foresee it stopping anytime soon. It's probably one of the things we as potential owners-to-be and current owners truly love about RED as a community-first company, one that truly engages the active people out there, shooting small or big projects, and learning to care for them. I have never witnessed something like this ever and this is truly what shaped the landscape of the industry we know and love today, to have RED standing at the top contending with IMO only 1 company(we all know who that is) and that speaks volumes about how far RED has come from it's humble beginnings with the RED ONE MX.

Jarred and team, thank you.

If you can just read one line.. it's the following: Thank you.

I don't spend much time on RU, mostly because I shoot a lot on very remote locations (the Arctic). So few RU’s know me or my “my story with RED”.

I became a customer of RED some 4 years ago, right before Dragon. My camera/environment had some very particular issues which – without getting into details (that’s not the point here) – drove me to a lot of frustration and dispair. After 18 months of shooting Epic; of which a fair amount I performed tests for Graeme; something triggered me (I guess I was tired: late midnight and I crossed the Atlantic) and I got into a mini-clash with Jarred (good advise: don’t :banghead: ).

Desperately; and feeling wronged; I jumped ship. But, over the months, something gnawed at me and one day I informed if RED had made progress with “my” issue…. and they had: H2O OLPF! It wasn’t tested yet in my most common environments but the gnawing was so bad, I took the bet and jumped back to RED.
The problem wasn’t gone completely, but it was a whole lot better! And with Dragon it got better again; and with DRAGONColor2 it made a huge leap forward (thanks Graeme!); Weapon 6K added another step forward and now…. I just got my Weapon HELIUM and cannot wait to throw it in the salty water :-)
FYI: I only had the time to assemble WPN-H and boot it, no tests yet BUT….. the image on the RT7 looks unbelievable compared to Dragon!!!

Anyway – point being – as I saw RED’s cameras evolve, I also saw the company evolve. I had no interest in nail biting and hitting CMD-R or F5 all the time the 11th, but I was online the time before, during and after the start. I truly enjoyed it, I felt a huge blast of energy going through this event! I found it meticulously planned, prepared, timed and executed!
I think I wandered from work over the “RED internet” and simply…. enjoyed…

Jarred, Brent, Graeme, Michael, Sean, Morgan, Bomb Squads, Techs, Support and many many more: I thank YOU, humbly!
I am glad to be still (back) on board; and I have a hunch – us customers – although we saw massive evolution already on this short ride, we ain’t seen nothing yet! :-)

So – In Jarred’s style – If you can just read one line.. it's the following: RESPECT!

PS: And THANK YOU!

RED is a company that should be "too good to be true," but it's not only proven itself as a company time and time again, but proven it's loyalty to all of us. I've said it before...RDC is a company that puts its customers first. With RED's slim margins getting even slimmer with this insane upgrade path, it just really makes me appreciate all they have and will continue to do for me.

RED listens, adapts, and pushes our industry farther than we ever thought we would be at this time and I've loved every minute of this amazing ride!

So thank you Jarred and everyone else at RED. You guys kill it daily!

I had an original Raven timestamp for April.14 originally. In trying to get my hands on a camera so fast I thought upgrading to a Scarlet-W would get me in the ball game. So on Oct.11 when the EW was announced I again thought this would be the quickest way so I had my bomb squad rep Austin Cooper upgrade me to that. Immediately that same day I was allocated. I made payment yesterday and my camera is scheduled to arrive today. This is my first RED so it's a huge deal for me! I waited for this day since I first ordered and I just want to Thank all the guys over at RED. Jarred, Brent, and Austin can't wait to shoot some great shit!
