  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams - Shot on RED WEAPON by Christopher Probst

CHRISTOPHER OMG!!!! I love how Taylor Swift seems to bring back the class in her videos. I'm happy to see that being done instead of scantily clad women prancing around and over-sexualizing music.
This is pure art. Love it man. You have a gift.

John, all I can say is...a million congrats. For years now, you've been pushing the RED community to re-imagine what's possible with these cameras. I can't think of a more fitting triumph - and testament to your hard work, and conviction - than Chris and Joseph's STUNNING new music video.

It does not look anamorphic dog seams to be 1:1 same height and width. From looking at the head of the giraffe.

That goes for the format of the framing but I wrote "dog" I mean "DOF" like the out of focus stuff does not seam to have the 2x hight of the blurs compared to the widths which comes with 2x ana´s. And the giraffe pic was just one example and yes it could for sure be stock, but I did not see anamorphic DOF in any of the shots, but I can be be mistaken. I thought this was 8k which it´s not so I should not trust my eye to much. Look like some high speed lenses been used quite open though.
 
I agree with Björn - it doesn't feel like anamorphic lenses were used (well, one shot near the end has a a touch on ana bokeh - but not 2x. IMO).

But, that's no criticism, who cares, it's an excellent promo... really a great job!

It's also good to see cinematic and story style promos... and Miss Swift seems to have corned the market!

My only fear is that when she finally settles down, her songs won't be based on romantic break-ups... and she won't want to make these videos anymore :(

Despite of retarded criticism in press, this video is one of her best. I have soft spot for the old Hollywood look and your work is stellar in this way. Red is rightfully proud of you.

Chris, forgive me if it is here somewhere else on REDUSER, (I can't find it I guess...) But I sure would love it if you were to do a BTS post on this video like you did on Blank Space, Bad Blood and Eminem's Phenomenal. I learn more here than anywhere else!
