  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello Everyone,

We are in the last stages of planning a Storm Event at RED Studios in Hollywood. I'll be back from this world traveling trip I'm on now, just in time for the event on March 10th to show off the EPIC and Scarlet and kick off the fun of showing Storm in action.

Mark from OFFHOLLYWOOD, DT Matthew Riggieri, and VFX specialist and editor Jim Geduldick will all be on hand to show and talk about Storm on the big screen at our studio.

Oh very cool. Hopefully, I can clear a few days in my schedule next week to head down for this. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
 
Looking at the screencasts for Storm. Wondering, what screengrab tool are they using? I really like that it captures shortcut keys.

Whats the best Hotel around there? Not necessarily most expensive. by best I mean most convenient.
not a shit hole :)

BURBANK Airport is closer, right?

thanks! Burbank is by far better to fly into than LAX... nice move RED!

Burbank is probably little closer but much easier to get to road/traffic
wise. There is a hotel right across from Burbank airport if you just
want to come in and go right out.

There are 2 Best Westerns in Hollywood that seem pretty nice.
 
Can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow and show off some of the great features that STORM brings to the table for independent productions and how it can be used to help make sure the footage your acquire in production will lay down in post.
