#1731 shoots Clayton Homes iHouse

Hey guys, not sure if any of you had heard of Clayton Homes (huge manufactured home maker) new "green" mobile home, the iHouse. You can read more about it and see some pictures here (http://www.jetsongreen.com/2009/01/clayton-homes-g.html) The footage is going to be used for a promo video to highlight the features of the house.

Hey Matthew

This must have been the steadicam shoot you mentioned earlier . How did it work out? What lens did you use to keep the weight down?

Yes it was Frank. We had Arri Standard Speeds. Also used the Cooke 20-60 to save time when shooting a lot of close up textures and physical features of the house (pretty much anything not on the steadicam was on the zoom.)

The footage is really beautiful. If the production companies isn't happy with the footage, then I'll eat my shorts. They were going to shoot Varicam, so I think they will be very happy (not to mention that the varicam would have been a little big to fit into the hallway on a steadicam.)

Looks pretty nice even with the heavy flash compression. Make sure you watch the very end of the video as it has some nice outdoor night footage that's just beautiful in 1080p.
